Talion gallery was founded in Yanaka, Tokyo, in 2011 and currently relocated to Mejiro, Tokyo, since 2014. Talion gallery has actively presented exhibitions curated with strong commitment to critical intervention to art history, keen focus on ongoing contemporary art movements and close engagement with social transformations. Encouraging undiscovered artists, the shows are mainly consisted by young artists in Japan. The gallery have strong relationship with curators and collectors who are committed deeply to the art scene in Japan. Managing the upcoming young artists who share the awareness of issues relating to the same generation for a long term, the gallery are aiming to send them to the front line of international art scene.
